  • Saudi bank account (IBAN) held in the name of the registered entity.
  • VAT registration certificate where the merchant is VAT-registered.

04How we decide

Applications pass through five steps: apply, verify, classify, approve and monitor. Category fit is decided before technical go-live. Typical review time is 48 hours once complete documents are received.

If a merchant sells across several categories, the category that generates the majority of expected sales is its primary category. Every secondary activity must also be approvable.

05Ongoing monitoring

Approved merchants are monitored for changes in product range, complaints, refund ratios and dispute rates. A merchant that moves outside its approved category must request re-classification; unapproved activity leads to suspension under our Restricted activities policy.
